Study and understand the drawings issued by the design team.
Provide management, oversight, and input on the following issues related to design, construction, client relations, and/or project management and delivery.
Client relations: Secure required input and approvals from Client to allow Main contractor and other contractors to adhere to design, procurement, and manufacturing schedules and deadlines.
Internal Main contractor and other contractor process requirements, specifically as they relate to design and construction.
Streamlining the approval process both with Client and with Main contractor and other contractors.
Main contractor, and other contractors’ deployment strategy including interface with each other.
Main contractor, and other contractor project schedule coordinated with the overall Client construction program.
Main contractor, and other contractor construction resources and structure necessary to deliver successfully including the structure of their team, headcount and for what durations.
Site logistics strategy, from the site allocation to Main contractor and other contractors to the arrival of the trucks, unloading, staging, and positioning.
Provide oversight to ensure adequate access is provided to all.
Provide assistance with interface and coordination issues with the remainder of the Client team.
Deliver close-out documentation to Client.
Provide ongoing communications to Client reporting out on ongoing issues and progress.
Vendor shall provide the following written communications:
Weekly in person meetings or phone calls shall be conducted by Vendor with Main contractor and other contractors. Vendor shall assess and report on their progress and seek additional opportunities for improvement. Notes for these meetings shall be produced by Vendor or others.
Weekly in person meetings or phone calls shall be conducted by Vendor with Client to apprise them of Main contractor and other contractor progress and to coordinate any interfaces required.
Vendor shall provide additional documentation as requested by Client throughout the project.
Preferably a Civil Background.
A track record of projects in the Chemical Sector.
